Well, here is something different. When I first received this song I didn’t know what to except. All I knew was that this song is a traditional Armenian wedding song. And wow.. just wow. A wedding is a party and a celebration and so is this song. Even though Messia Garabedian isn’t more than 24 years old, his songwriting talent is way beyond most of his age. The structure of the song is amazing and it really takes you on a journey. In his own words “There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved..” and this song truly is a love story.

There is something that really moves me with this song. The traditional Armenian, but also the more modern, small subtle elements that pops up at times. The blend and the structure makes this track a perfect wedding song and I can guarantee that it will get the party started.

Messia Garbedian is based in Amsterdam, but was born in Iraq. Along with his family, Messia moved to Amsterdam in 1995. He has performed all over the world and have released a two albums as well. In most of his music you can hear the traditional meeting the modern and the result is a unique sound that is nothing less than impressive.
